project hu x HOXTON 253 art residency August - September 2020
project hu x HOXTON 253 Residency is a collaborative venture between project hu and HOXTON 253 art project space supported by the Hungarian Cultural Centre. Throughout the month long residency programme, London based artists Joonhong Min and Karoly Tendl had the opportunity to freely utilise the gallery space and create works for Ghost Relics, end of residency exhibition, while Nora Teplan has collaborated remotely from Budapest, Hungary.
Ghost Relics is a culmination of conversations and cultural exchange between the artists, organisers, mentors and other creative professionals.
The exhibition ties the artists’ practices into a dislocated narrative dealing with urban life, superstition, memory and crisis, both personal and global.
